Scamp's CV Series Masking units combine Scamp's unique and patented random sound generation circuitry with an internal 5W amplifier, a custom-designed driver, and a high-quality acoustic enclosure. Unequaled spectrum, volume, and zone-size adjustments allow the CV unit to achieve superior fit with the acoustic environment.  Active spectrum shaping enables the unit's output to conform to the preferred acoustic curve, regardless of ceiling treatment. Volume adjustments can be made in zones from under 225 square feet in area, and can be set with precision within a range of 10dBA to 86dBA. In addition to this standard volume control, which is found on all Master units, the CV unit has a Central Volume Control which initiates global volume adjustments for up to 50 Master units; this adjustment operates independently from the individual Master volume controls. With the Central Volume Control, a 15dBA adjustment is possible over zones up to 22 500 square feet (2 000 square meters). CV units operate on low 16V - 18V power.

Scamp CV units work in conjunction with PL and CP Master units, Plenum and Ceiling Plate Satellite units,and Scamp Public Address Speakers.
